Post Your Event to the Denver Dance Calendar!
In service to the metro Denver dance community!
Posting your social dance event to the Denver Dance Calendar is easy. Just fill out the short form found below. It's very important that you check your post to make sure that all the needed information is correct and complete before making your post.
Additionally, before posting your event(s) it might be a good idea to take a look at a few of the existing posts on the calendar. Then compose your post as needed. Make sure you include the following: where, when, how much, start times, end times, and contact information. Usually, the announcement text that you already have about your event can be used as a starting point in the composition of your post. For an idea of what your post should include please see the sample post found a few paragraphs below.
Additional Notes:
-
If you are listing a monthly series of classes please make a post ONLY for the starting date of the series. Then list the dates that your class repeats within the text of your post.
-
Please do not use ALL CAPS when composing your text. Event posts composed of ALL CAPS will not be posted to the calendar.
-
If you are listing a dance with a pre-dance class, please do not make a separate listing for the class. Instead, include details of your pre-dance class within your post for the dance. (as in the example below)
-
Your event will not automatically show up on the calendar. All events must be approved by the calendar administrator before they are actually posted. We have a human involved in this process to filter out spam and inappropriate posts to the calendar. Your post should appear on the calendar in approximately 24 to 48 hours.

Making a post to the
Denver Dance Calendar is free. However, to help cover our expenses
and labor, we encourage, but not require, each person or organization
making a post to the calendar to use the convenient
PayPal Donation page we
have in place. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated.
To donate to the Denver Dance Calendar with PayPal, or any major credit
card, please
click here. Another way to consider helping us
here at the Denver Dance Calendar is by furnishing us with a couple of
free dance event passes. (We like to dance too!) We may choose to
give them away to people that receive our weekly newsletter. If
that happens, needless to say, your event might receive a little free
publicity in our weekly newsletter.
Send us a note if you choose this
option.
Again, you are not in any way required to make a donation or furnish an event pass. Posting your event to the calendar is free.
